So ... We all know about the bugs in SP2 .. are they going to release anything to fix SP2, and if so, when?

It would be nice if they would fix the bugs they added with SP2 before they add something else to it. AFAIK SP2 is required before installing sedna - if that is the case, then Sedna might as well stay off the market until SP2 is usable.

Hi Bill, not that this would happen anyway, but why hold up Sedna because SP2 has a couple of issues. Even if the SP2 issues are show stoppers for you, you can still use most of the Sedna components with SP1...and you get the xsource with Sedna, so your hands aren't tied if you find a bug.

I am hopeful that the problems with SP2 will be cleared up, but I don't have any specific information on that. The information that I have provided here comes from an email conversation with Microsoft's Milind Lele regarding Sedna that he gave permission to share. I am in agreement with Bo that I would like to have the Sedna RTM and source and not have the release be contingent on SP2 fixes. That having been said, I am just as anxious as most of the rest of the community to see the problems with SP2 addressed by Microsoft before they completely close down future development on VFP.
